CFP: The 8th International Conference on Supply Chain Management and Information Systems (SCMIS 2010)

Call for Papers

The 8th International Conference on Supply Chain Management and Information Systems (SCMIS 2010)

Conference Date: 6 October 2010 to 8 October 2010

Accepted papers will be published in the SCMIS 2010 Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore.  All the accepted papers listed in IEEE Xplore would be indexed by Inspec, Compendex and EI.  In addition to proceedings for all papers accepted for presentation, selected high quality papers will be recommended for publication in special issues of journals with high citation indices.

Conference Theme

The conference theme is Logistics Systems and Engineering. The conference is designed to seek practitioners knowledge and opinions, and to apply theory to practice. Academics and practitioners are now invited to submit their conference papers.

Conference Aims

1. To identify emerging logistics issues and research opportunities in the arena of Supply Chain Management and Information Systems by working closely with industry
2. To exchange research ideas, observations and theories crossing different disciplines, sectors and countries in the fields of supply chain management, logistics information systems, performance measures and metrics, environmental and sustainability issues in logistics, and knowledge management
3. To help researchers and decision makers in understanding the processes involved in logistics systems and their operations

Acceptance of Full papers: May 15, 2010
Submission of Camera-ready papers: July 15, 2010
Early Registration date: July 15, 2010
Standard Registration date: August 15, 2010
